About us:

The functional neuroimaging group consists of faculty, post-docs, staff, and students at the University of Illinois who are interested in a diverse number of topics from studying processes such as memory, attention, and language to certain populations such as people with anxiety and personality disorders as well as normal aging populations.

Researchers in the neuroimaging group use a variety of techniques for studying brain/behavior relationships such as structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), event-related potentials (ERPs), event-related optical signals (EROS), and neuropsychological assessment. Everyone in the group has the hope and belief that studying brain activity will enlighten theories of cognitive and brain function as well as theories of behavioral disorders and disease.
